tuition & policies

TUITION schedule

Tuition for our primary dance season (August - June) is calculated annually and can be paid in 10 equal monthly installments for the full 2024-2025 season, which includes a minimum of 40 lessons. Families benefit from a multi-class timetable discount when taking multiple classes.

Tuition is adjusted proportionally for students enrolling after the start of the dance season.

Registration

Upon registration, families are required to pay the first tuition installment along with an annual membership fee of $45 per student. This fee covers administrative costs, liability insurance, music licensing, and studio communication expenses, which are separate from class tuition.


Group Class Tuition Policies

  • Payments to Impact Dance Center, including tuition, costumes, and performance tickets, are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

  • Tuition is due on the 1st of every month, with a grace period until the 3rd. A $25 administrative fee is applied for late payments.

  • Auto-pay with a credit card on file is mandatory after initial enrollment fees are paid; cash or check payments are accepted if received prior to the 1st to prevent auto-pay processing.

  • Monthly installments are based on 40 weeks of instruction, with payments prorated upon enrollment.

  • Specific class days have makeup lesson allowances due to studio closures (Presidents Day, Memorial Day).

  • Accounts must be settled by the last business day of the prior billing cycle to discontinue tuition charges for upcoming months. Withdrawal requests must be submitted electronically here →

  • Interested in private lessons? Use our online request form to share your availability and lesson preferences, and we'll match you with an instructor.

  • Once your lesson is scheduled, please log in to your family account in Studio Director to enroll in the class with your name to confirm and complete payment. Be sure to only enroll in the class listed under your name. If you prefer, you can stop by the front desk or call us during business hours to authorize the lesson charge to the credit card on file.

  • Payment for Private Lessons, Semi-Private Lessons, and Drop-In classes is required at the time of enrollment. If payment is not received at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson, the lesson will be cancelled, and the instructor will be notified not to proceed.

  • Cancellation Policy: For no-shows or cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, the lesson will still be charged to your account. Additionally, if one party from a semi-private lesson cancels, the lesson will need to be cancelled and rebooked as a private lesson at the applicable rate.

Performance Packages

Impact Dance Center hosts two annual performances each season (December and June). Performance package fees are applied to all active student accounts unless an electronic opt-out form is submitted before each performance opt-out deadline.

Winter Show (Winter Fantasy)
This Winter Fantasy Performance Package is split into two charges:

  • A $35 performance tee purchase (dancers who already own a performance tee are exempt from this purchase)

  • A $40 mandatory staffing and media package, which includes backstage staffing for Winter Fantasy performances, a show video digital download, and a backstage photo experience. This portion of the fee will be charged to all active student accounts on October 15th.

Summer Show (June Recital)
The June Recital Performance Package fees for all youth weekly group classes include June recital Performance participation, a high-quality costume, a pair of tights (if required), a digital recording of the performance, and a souvenir t-shirt. It does not include dance shoes and/or any necessary undergarments. This fee will be charged to all active student accounts on February 1st.

  • $95 for each additional routine
