WINTER FANtasy 2026

With Millikan under renovation, Winter Fantasy will look a little different this year.

For 2026 only, we’re bringing all of our holiday performances together at Kennedy High School Performing Arts Center for one festive Saturday. This one-day structure was created specifically for this year’s venue change and is not a permanent change to the Winter Fantasy format.

Winter Fantasy performances will take place throughout the day, but your family will not need to stay at the theater all day.

Each Red Shirt class will be assigned to one of five performance blocks, and Clara’s Dream and Club Sweets will have their own scheduled productions. Every performance will have a designated dancer check-in, performance, and dismissal time.

House lights will come up between performances, allowing audience members to enter or exit before the next performance begins.

Red Shirt classes have been assigned to performance blocks throughout the day. Clara’s Dream dancers perform with their assigned Cast A, B, or C, and Club Sweets dancers perform with their assigned production group.

Because these are separate performance opportunities, some dancers may have more than one Winter Fantasy assignment.

Your dancer’s assignment tells you when they perform; their enrollment and participation information tells you which opportunities they are participating in.

Possibly! Clara’s Dream and Club Sweets are separate performance opportunities from our Red Shirt class performances.

If your dancer is enrolled in an eligible Red Shirt class in addition to their production participation, they may perform in both. Be sure to review all of your dancer’s performance assignments when planning your Winter Fantasy day.

Each performance block and production has its own check-in and dismissal time. Your dancer only needs to be backstage for their assigned portion of the day.

Dancers with multiple performance assignments should check each schedule carefully, as they may have separate check-in and dismissal times throughout the day.

Winter Fantasy takes place on Saturday, December 19, and one admission wristband gives you access to performances throughout the day.

Admission Wristbands are $25 + $2.85 online ticket fee per person.

General seating is first come, first served. Your wristband allows you to leave and return between performances, so you can plan your day around your dancer’s schedule.

Want a guaranteed seat? Reserved Seating Upgrades are available for the first two rows at $10 + $2.10 online ticket fee per person, per performance. Each upgrade requires an admission wristband.

Participating performers do not need an admission wristband.

Children ages 2 and under may attend without a wristband when sitting on an adult’s lap. If they need their own seat, an admission wristband is required.

Absolutely! Your Winter Fantasy admission wristband gives you access to all performances throughout Saturday, December 19.

Come cheer on your dancer, stay for Clara’s Dream or Club Sweets, and enjoy additional Class Showcases throughout the day.

You’re welcome to leave and return between performances. General seating is first come, first served, and reserved seating is available as an optional upgrade for individual performances.

Red Shirt dances will be grouped into five performance blocks throughout the day.

Each block will feature its own lineup of approximately 15–20 class performances, followed by a theater transition before the next performance or production begins.

Fees are based on the type of performance opportunity your dancer is participating in.

Red Shirt Dance: $45 Performance Package, plus a $35 performer shirt if your dancer does not already own one.

Clara’s Dream (Group Class): $117 Production Fee.

Club Sweets: $117 Production Fee.

Dancers participating in multiple opportunities may have more than one applicable performance or production fee.

The $45 Red Shirt Performance Package supports your dancer’s class performance experience and includes a digital show video and access to our lobby photo experience.

A Winter Fantasy performer shirt is also required for Red Shirt performers. Families who already own a Winter Fantasy shirt from a previous year do not need to purchase another.

Clara’s Dream and Club Sweets are separate productions with their own $117 Production Fee. Dancers participating in both a Red Shirt Dance and a production will have fees associated with each opportunity.

No. If your dancer already owns a Winter Fantasy performer shirt from a previous year, there is no need to purchase a new one.

If you do need a shirt, the cost is $35. We cannot guarantee shirt availability for orders placed after November 6.

Students participating exclusively in Clara’s Dream or Club Sweets do not need a Red Shirt performer tee.

Dancers should wear their Winter Fantasy shirt (order here before Nov. 6) with the following class-specific performance attire:

• Impact Petites (Baby Stars, Tiny Stars, Shooting Stars): Girls wear black tights, black leotard, black tutu skirt, and appropriate dance shoes; hair half-up and curly. Boys wear black pants and appropriate dance shoes.

• Tap, Jazz, and Lyrical (Academy and higher): Girls wear black leggings, appropriate dance shoes, and a high ponytail. Boys wear black pants and appropriate dance shoes.

• Ballet (Academy and higher): Girls wear pink dance tights, black leotard, black ballet skirt, pink ballet shoes with elastic, and a high bun. Boys wear black jazz pants and black ballet or jazz shoes.

• Hip Hop (Level 1 and higher): Dancers wear black leggings or joggers/sweatpants and clean sneakers. Long hair should be worn in a high ponytail.

Dancers participating in Clara’s Dream or Club Sweets should refer to their production-specific information for costume, hair, makeup, tights, and footwear requirements.

Every performance block and production has its own designated check-in time.

Please follow the schedule assigned specifically to your dancer. Detailed check-in locations and procedures will be shared closer to the performance.

Dancers will be dismissed at the conclusion of their assigned Class Showcase block or production.

For safety and to keep dismissal organized, dancers may not be picked up during a performance block.

Dancers ages 11 and under must be checked out by an adult between performances unless they are performing in consecutive blocks.

If your dancer has a break between performance blocks, they will remain in their adult’s care until their next scheduled check-in.

Specific dismissal locations and procedures will be shared before the event.

Absolutely! Parent volunteers play an important role in helping Winter Fantasy run smoothly.

Eligible Red Shirt dancers are automatically included in Winter Fantasy. Families only need to respond if their dancer cannot participate.

If your dancer is unable to perform, please submit the Winter Fantasy opt-out form by Thursday, October 1 at 11:59 PM to avoid Performance Package charges.

Clara’s Dream and Club Sweets are separate invitation-only productions with their own participation confirmations, packages, rehearsals, and performance information.

Makeup (Watch Tutorial):

• Younger dancers: Simple makeup including plum blush, mascara, brown eyeshadow, and red lipstick (preferably: Mac Ruby Woo).

• Older dancers: Regular stage makeup with false eyelashes.

Jewelry & Nail Polish: No jewelry or nail polish is allowed.

If your plans have changed, please contact the Front Desk as soon as possible so we can review your dancer’s participation and any applicable production commitments.

Winter Fantasy fees become non-refundable after the published withdrawal deadline, and withdrawing from a production may affect casting, costumes, and choreography.
